I'm Soo, an architect (landscape, environmental and urban) and researcher from New Zealand, but I have also been raised in South Korea and England. I have been based in Europe (UK and Denmark) for the past decade and have finally returned to Aotearoa New Zealand, since August 2023. I hope to continue my transdisciplinary engagement with many different fields that are working with climate adaptation to sea level rise and storm surges, in particular, integrating marine nature-based solutions, soft approaches and indigenous principles (Te ao Maori) to urban development.
